About

We’re very fortunate to be able to live and support ourselves on the beautiful Washington Coast.  When we were close to retiring we knew we would need an income to see us through our retirement years.  When we found Baker Bay Mobile Home Park, we felt this could give us the income we needed and allow us the time to travel.  It has worked out great for us and having the ability to travel and still have the rents and repairs dealt with while we were gone is what made the park work for us.

We’ve worked to make the park more profitable with less work.  Our park sits about a mile off Hwy 101 on a little used road with mostly local traffic.  The road is just a small stretch of road with the Bay on one side and the park on the other.  It’s going to be hard leaving the peace and quiet, the breathtaking views of Baker Bay and the Columbia River which feeds into the Pacific Ocean just around the bend.

Spectacular sunsets and sparkling lights of Ilwaco and the Coast Guard station just across the water are just a bonus, as are all the freighters and navy ships and cruise ships that come into the Columbia. It’s not uncommon in the fall to have a deer at our porch enjoying the apples that have fallen from the trees.

We are within five minutes of Ilwaco, WA and just a few more to Long Beach.  Astoria, OR is less than 15 miles to the east.  It is not unusual to see an occasional tour bus on our road, stopping so the people can see the unbelievably beautiful sights.
